Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Post OS Studio ("the service", "we", "us"). By creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service. We've kept this plain-English on purpose — legalese hiding bad terms is something we won't do to you.
1. What we provide
Post OS Studio is a web-based creative platform that helps independent creators and businesses build brand identity, generate images, and assemble content. The service is delivered through a paid subscription with monthly or annual billing. Features may evolve over time; we'll let you know if anything you rely on materially changes.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- One account per person. Don't share logins.
- If you suspect unauthorised access, tell us at our contact form right away.
3. Subscription and billing
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel.
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid period — you keep access until then.
- You can cancel anytime from your billing portal. There are no cancellation penalties.
- Pricing changes apply at your next renewal, not mid-period. We'll email you at least 30 days before any price change takes effect.
- Refund requests go to our contact form and are reviewed case by case. We refund without fuss when something on our side broke.
- Statutory refund rights (e.g. EU/UK 14-day withdrawal right) are honoured even where these terms are stricter — your statutory rights are not affected.
4. Ownership of what you create
Your content
You own the brand identity, palette, fonts choices, copy, and any images you generate using the service. You can use these outputs commercially, edit them, and republish them. We claim no ownership of your creative output.
Our platform
We own the software, design, course content, and any underlying knowledge bases that power the service. You're getting a licence to use the service while your subscription is active, not ownership of the platform itself.
AI-generated images
Images generated through SHOT and similar features are produced by third-party AI models. To the extent any copyright exists in those outputs, we assign whatever rights we have in them to you. Note that AI-generated content has uncertain copyright status under current law in some jurisdictions — that's the state of the industry, not something we can fix.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use the service to:
- Generate content that depicts minors in sexual or violent contexts
- Generate content designed to defame, harass, or impersonate real people without consent
- Generate content that promotes illegal acts, hate speech, or self-harm
- Attempt to extract, copy, or reverse-engineer the platform, prompts, or knowledge bases
- Scrape or bulk-export data beyond what's normal personal use
- Resell credits or accounts
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. For severe violations (e.g. illegal content) we may report to the relevant authorities as required by law.
6. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but cannot guarantee 100%. Maintenance, third-party outages (AI providers, payment provider, hosting), or rare bugs may interrupt service occasionally. We are not liable for losses caused by such interruptions, but we will work to resolve them quickly.
7. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or business-loss damages.
Nothing in these terms limits liability we cannot legally exclude — for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
8. Termination
You can cancel anytime. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms or remain unpaid. When an account is terminated, your data is deleted within 30 days, except where we are required to keep records (e.g. tax records for 7 years — see the Privacy Policy).
9. Changes to the service or these terms
We may update these terms when the service changes meaningfully (new features, new processors, changes to billing). Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Post OS Studio is established. If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, your statutory consumer rights apply regardless of these terms. Disputes will first be attempted in good faith by email; if unresolved, the courts of our jurisdiction have non-exclusive competence — you may also bring proceedings in your own country of residence if you're a consumer.
